Captain Anthony Munda    

Captain Anthony Munda is a highly accomplished maritime professional with over 20 years of experience providing Commercial Marine Assistance. Throughout his career, he has responded to thousands of boaters in need, offering critical aid and expert support during emergencies on the water.

Captain Munda’s exceptional dedication to maritime safety has earned him multiple commendations and national recognition for his life-saving efforts. His extensive experience includes working closely with both the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Navy on a variety of operations, further solidifying his reputation as a trusted and skilled mariner.

Captain Austin Munda

With over 13 years of experience in Commercial Marine Assistance, Austin is a seasoned mariner dedicated to the safety and service of the boating community. He is an active member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, contributing his expertise to local operations and tirelessly promoting boating safety for the Coeur d'Alene area.

 

Austin’s passion for the water started at an incredibly young age—he learned to drive a boat before he could walk. Born and raised in beautiful Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and a proud graduate of Coeur d'Alene High School’s Class of 2015, Austin has lived and breathed the boating lifestyle his entire life.

Raised by his father, Tony, Austin grew up aboard a beautiful sailboat, which shaped his love for boating. Following in his father’s footsteps, he gained a deep understanding of vessel maintenance, care, and the vibrant boating community that surrounded him. His journey began as a deckhand, where he honed his skills in towing evolutions and marine salvage operations. Over the years, Austin expanded his experience, participating in numerous Navy operations and evolutions, further refining his maritime expertise and contributing to critical missions.

Today, he carries forward a legacy of commitment to excellence on the water, serving as a trusted and skilled maritime professional.

Darren Prouty

Owner of Precision Propeller in Spokane, Washington, and Salvage Diver for Marine Rescue CDA

Darren brings a wealth of expertise in salvage and rescue diving to the team.

 

As the owner of Precision Propeller, a trusted marine propeller company in Spokane, Washington, he combines his technical knowledge with hands-on experience to support the marine industry.

A seasoned professional, Darren has honed his skills over years of challenging salvage operations. He is also a retired volunteer member of the Spokane County Sheriff Dive Team, where he contributed his expertise to numerous critical missions and underwater recoveries.

With a deep commitment to marine safety and salvage excellence, Darren continues to make a significant impact as part of the Marine Rescue CDA team, ensuring professionalism and reliability in every operation.
